Making a start in stud

I want to start playing stud online at lowlimits but don't know where to start.

I have been playing limit and nolimit holdem, online at low limits.

I would be grateful for any advice.

For SSS to be profitable you do need to be playing on loose, or at least semi-loose tables. If only one or two players are putting money into the pot then the rake will take away your advantage.

Getting Started in Hold'em writen by Ed Miller.

Buy in for 20 big bets. You hope to double up, but once you reach 30-35 big bets you have a middle stack. I usually leave and join another game....

Do you use the preflop recommendations from SSHE or from HEFAP or someother?

Which do you think is best at low limits?

I'm using HEFAP since I'd read HEFAP and learnt them, before I bought...
