Re: Stars $10 - jj overpair 3 way
pf is fine but raise more if UTG will call light.
raise the flop to 3 to charge fd and missed overs.
Since Button is already ai, I play turn the same. You will get calls from a lot of weaker...

Re: TPTK oop against a manaic
I hate this spot, I would be much happier if he a guy with these stats had come over the top on the flop or turn.
I call but I am not smiling. Any reads on how he plays his big hands?

Re: $10NL JJ facing pre-flop aggression
Villain's stats make me want to call here with position. I figure to be about even with his range (tt+, AQ+ and some resteals) and I can play this hand pretty profitably on a lot of flops especially...

Re: $10NL, AKs out of position
Calling is a poor choice here since you are oop. Against two villains I think calling would be ok with position but raise/fold is my general attitude in these spots.
At 10NL it seems there are...

Re: 10NL: What do i do on the flop? rr pot
I like the pf, especially since villain is probably stealing from CO regularly with those stats.
You are not cf here, a cbet is definitely in order since that Ace scares a lot of his likely better...

Re: AA faced reraise on flop ...
Which villain is which?
I think any semi competent villain has at least KK here against two opponents who have already bet the flop especially after the pf action which really narrows the ranges...

Re: 10NL KK looking for value on the river
I bet about 2 here and expect any 8 and lots of pps to call.
You could shove (only about a psb) but my experience is that 10NL fold to PSBs on the river way more often than 2/3 pot.

Re: middle pair + OESD - flop shove?
Drawing dead?
10-8 and 8-5 would leave him drawing to a chop but neither hand is likely given heroes holding and pf action.
I don't like the shove either. What better hand folds? Maybe T9/98/A9...

Re: Stars $10 - set OOP vs flop raiser
Given stack sizes, I think b3b is better. You are looking to get as much in as possible asap. You should make your bet and your raise a bit bigger. Either he likes his hand (and at 10NL is gonna see...

10NL: BB flops flush. 3 way push
I have taggy at 24/19/4 over 282 hands, all at 10NL in recent weeks. He started posted occasionally in september. He has 3 bet me a few times and I have returned the favor but I can't remember...

Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread: Part II
Yeah, I have Danpil going back to january. 492 hands, @ 16/6/1.3. Just another too passive set miner, I haven't gone up against him much lately.
The other two I don't have but I just start...

Re: NL10 SH playing QQ with an A on the Turn
I hate this spot. I bet/fold and check/fold about equally here only calling down against known lagtards.
Given his pretty wide pf range I am inclined to bet in the hopes that it is a...

Re: nl 10 i turned trips vs raise
Given his stats, weaker Queens don't seem that likely. The dry flop easily could convince him to slowplay (and AA, AQ, 77 are all in his pf raising range). I think a shove is questionable here but...

Villain is new to me, at this point we had been together about 20 hands and he was running 30/5/2 and hadn't done anything noteworthy.

Re: Was this fold with KK the right move?
Any reads?
QQ, JJ probably (highly player dependent) 3bet from SB.
I am thinking your turn call induced a bluff/overplayed Q. Basically you have repped a jack in his mind. At least I think this...

Re: Good time for a KK laydown?
I probably call this against an unknown at 10NL but it is close.
This a draw a lot (1/2 the time against and unknown), but you are behind some likely ones like AcJc, AcTc, Tc9c and barely ahead...

Re: NL10 - JJ facing all in overbet
I wouldn't call this big an overbet unless villain was doing this with BS all the time. Probably he had AK, AQ or some such (and I would even wince calling with 33 since A3 is probably well within...

Re: check or value bet? NL25
I definitely value bet the river. Against a random villain this is top pair or worse calling you down almost always at these stakes.
Against an unknown, I am calling if he check raises you on...
