Re: Bad river call or just bad river?

He ended up turning over Q9s. I dont like his play pf or on any street after that, like i said i dont think hes good enough to put me on a straight so his river shove is bad also since a straight is...

Re: Bad river call or just bad river?

I only played about 70 hands with him but his utg min raise range could have a 10-9s or an 8-9s. He was also min betting bottom pair every time out of position.

Re: Bad river call or just bad river?

What if i told you he was running at 73/24. I also didnt think he would just shove with a boat, i figured he would want to get some sort of value and i dont think he was good enough to put me on a...

Re: NL100 - Is this why we don\'t play trash hands oop?

UTG must be pretty bad to limp and then call 3.50 after a raise and a call.

Re: FT200 Pretty lost with straight

at least you know a king can come on the river right? now with the straight on the board you have to hope and guess he doesnt have a king.

Re: how do you react to min-raises ?

Theres only one thing i hate more than min raises, folding to min raises. I dont understand the complete logic to it, i never min raise. Just pay attention to the player, if they min raise light or...

Re: AA - AI on the flop?

Its better to get it AI on the flop than to have a spade or queen hit the turn.

Re: Hooks...weak?

His range is going to be wider considering the fact he has position. I just feel like folding is too weak and calling is horrible since youd have to act first with JJ.

Re: Hooks...weak?

The only thing that sucks about this is if you call youd be out of position. I wouldnt call here. r/r i think would be the best thing unless you have a really strong read on BTN. This folding in the...

Re: NL200 rate my 3bet 3-way bluff

The times this works compared to the times it doesnt makes this such a huge difference for it not to be a good play. Good play, since it worked, but in the long run i think this play is a losing one.

Re: Best position to handle a wild and aggressive player?

I agree with Symbolic completely. You want to be to his left. Decisions with only your whole cards are a lot easier to make than they are when youre staring at a missed flop and have to act before...

Re: AK - where did i go wrong?

Re: Check the turn? (NL100)

If youre stacking off anyways do it here. Still possible he has flush draw.
