$2.20 sattelite to Sunday 100k fold AKs preflop?
I haven't played in many of these but have heard several people mention they are a good way to make T$ so I thought I would play a few.

After reading HOH I was finding myself in the exact same spots. Don't be afraid to steal the blinds it's the where a lot of your chips are going to come from throughout the tournament.

I agree with Bakes in that I'm check calling he could be betting out with a lot more then just AQ here. AK,AQ, KQ,QJ even a middle pocket pair all bet out here as you have shown weakness on the flop....

Villian hadn't really shown down any hands with much strength and the hands he had gone to showdown with were fairly weak. I didn't read his call as strength at all and thought he "might" have caught...

I had been varying it somewhat randomly after doing some searching around and remembering some of what I've seen in the pockerxfactor videos I think a lot of stronger players change their raise size...

If you are going to fold to a C Bet on a Jack high flop why are you calling the 3 bet preflop?
If cobra is raising top 4% that's 99+ AQs+ AKo of those hands only JJ, KK and AA have you crushed.

So how best to vary the sizes of your preflop bets at this stage? most of the way through I'm raising 2.5 to 4x the BB
villian has played 7 tournaments so I don't think I'm giving anything away...

with 88 I raised a little more then standard hoping to take down the pot right there plus it put the small stack all if he choses to call and makes high cards pay more to see a flop. Is this logic...

Easy push, you could profitably push anywhere upto 7-8k in chips even if the callers behind you are loose. Search the forums for the pushbot charts to easily figure this out in the heat of battle
