Re: Folding Aces on the bubble?
One other thing to consider is with blinds this high one of those two short stacks will be breathing down your neck if you get a bad orbit or 2. Easy call.

$5.50 Endgame review
The bubble broke immediately before this hand. The big stack is a donk maniac who has hit some lucky hands late (eg pushed J2o on the bubble and sucked out on AKs, then won a race to break the...

Re: 33 in $5.50
Villain probably has 2 diamonds, although AK would make a lot of sense also, as he'd probably reraise you on the flop if he had a made set. If he did actually set over set you, well just chalk it up...

Re: $1 PS, shove good?
let me guess, one of the limpers called with like pocket 4s and beat you?
I think shoving here is asking for a $1 sng induced headdache.

Re: $16 - AQ early
i occasionally am tempted to play aq in ep early in the game--i usually regret it. You must be up against a very "special" player if they are reraising you with something you beat on that turn.

Re: Can you get away from this?
The only time to get away from it might have been pre-flop. You pretty much know at that point that you are at best a flip against whatever this guy has, even if he is a complete monkey.
It's a...

If you've seen this player as being very solid so far then maybe I'd bet a bit less. The fact that there was another guy in the hand with A7 to the end should say something about your competition in...

Re: Should I have done anything differently here?
You had top pair with a good kicker and the nut flush draw. You technically didn't get rivered but there was nothing bad with your play, just a bit unlucky.
Oh and btw, it's best not to put the...

Re: Royal Flush
I've made one ever, in just under 900 Sng's (not sure how many hands). I made it on the turn and got paid off- guy had trip kings and was betting willingly.

IMO 45 man games are closer in nature to an MTT than the STTs you play most often. Naturally you are going to have higher variance playing them.
If you find yourself doing something completely...

I mean a really large reraise usually means the straight, fairly straightforward. I'm getting the impression that there is a lot more deception once you move up a level or two.

Can anyone walk me through why this is not a fold? I play mostly $5 and $10 SnG's and, barring the guy being a complete maniac, this bet is usually what it looks like.

Re: PS 5$ - KQ do i call this bet on the flop?
Looks like at least one of them has a (weak?) ace, and you don't quite have the expressed odds to hit an inside straight, so fold.
On a side note this early I only like playing KQ in late...

Re: $1.20: Continuation bet the flop?
I think this hand sums up exactly why playing the $1 SnG's can be irritating. While you played well, playing "right" just isn't as effective if you are attributing too much skill to your opponents....

Re: Basic Sit \'n Go Questions Answered Here
I originally started at the $1+0.20 just because it was the lowest buy-in. I'd recommend getting away from these as soon as possible if you are in any way serious about playing. The 20% rake is a...
