Re: Playing overcards on the flop

First to all the "LOL" responders I'm glad I was able to offer some comic releif. Granted that my reasoning was flawed and I didn't acount for the pod odds correctly but a simple indication would...

2. What is...

Overvaluing Bullets (AA)?

I was faced with this tricky situation where the villain shows surprise agression on the turn after just calling the flop. The turn card to me was a blank so I figured he was bluffing afrer capping...

Re: Playing TP against Maniacs

[ QUOTE ]
You can't be thinking of folding turn or river?

[/ QUOTE ]

I never thought of folding because I had A hand (not great but a hand none the less) and I had went to the SD with him...

Playing TP against Maniacs

The villain is this case is 41/21/2 a real maniac. Plays any ace, any suited cards any cnnected cards (even off suit) of any rank and any pair. My question is whetehr I am over valuing my TP against...

Re: Playing pocket AA on a paired board

Excellent read indeed /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Playing pocket AA on a paired board

The results:

I called the reraise and the villain held pocket tens. Lucky SOB flopped quads and was slowplaying after the flop.

In retrospect I'm guessing with pocket tens if I had been more...

Playing pocket AA on a paired board

I got the dream starting hand and am wondering if I slowplayed a bit too much. Preflop made a modest raise and also checked the turn (hoping to induce a bet). Was this wrong? Should I have played...
