Re: K9o in the SB..
I could be wrong but think shoving pre flop is +EV.
I prefer the 3XBB bet though.
On flop I would tend not to c bet, but just try a CR all in to represent an 8.
This seems to work at the...

Re: (20 1r/1a) Tough Spot w/ Straight
With no reads why are you raising UTG with that?
Not criticising, you're a very winning player so genuinely would like to know.
I would just fold and expect to see jotan and/or uwojames has a...

Re: 4.4/180, AA on a KKx flop
I like the flop check behind, no reason to bet to protect - I find that in the 4/180s players are terrified of paired boards and will fold most pairs when you bet so you're probably not missing...

Re: 12 180 turn nuts with redraw...
Agree that min raise here is mostly someone who wants to get it all in without scaring you out, given fact you lead on the flop.
However an all in reraise to his min raise is an overbet and can only...

4/180 flop an OESFD
Villain is a losing player, VPIP around 25%, don't remember the PFR %.
I raise the flop which I guess is pretty std.
Once I know he's interested I slow down on turn, then left with a tough...

PS 4/180 - Bet river for value?
Early in 4/180 and no reads on villain.
Comments on all streets welcome.
Is pre flop call very bad?
I don't usually call a raise pre flop with Axs but did this time because of the caller and...

Re: 20+2: Yeah
The flop call makes me think he believes you are c betting and his mid/small pair or overcards (maybe with flush draw) is good.
His turn bet is weak here, I think all in is fine given you've...

PS 20/180 On the Bubble
Villain is a solid winner - 99.3% percentile on OPR.
His VPIP is about 17, and his preflop raise was around the same.
No real reads on him though.
My thinking is he may be abusing the money...

4 / 180, call the All In with 77?
Read FWIW is that villain is tightish - 11% VPIP.
Obviously the very low M is more important here.
Call is standard yeah?

Data Mining vs Tourney Stats
Not sure which forum to post this.
Why is there tourney stats readily available for anyone to see but not for cash games, where it's classed as "data mining" and illegal (or so I've been told) ?

Cash Player Statistics
I've looked in FAQ etc but can't find the answer - is there any website with stats for cash players?
I use OPR for tournies but not sure if its possible to track cash games stats.
Thanks in...

(given he has no reason to think you're weak)
[/ QUOTE ]
Surely most your SB opening range has missed this flop & your cbetting it a lot.

Good point.

Re: Big Stacks, Blind vs Blind
Did you look him up on OPR at the time?
If you did and he's good then I think he's only folding to an all in if he's bluffing or has a smaller pair, and he's very rarely bluffing or raising the...

Re: Big Stacks, Blind vs Blind
I don't think the exploitable argument holds given villain doesn't have a read that hero is weak.
It may well be that villain is hugely aggressive on the flop every time, but we just don't know...

Re: Big Stacks, Blind vs Blind
This is a typical spot where I get myself into trouble by convincing myself the opponent is bluffing without a genuine read.
The fact is you have no reads to indicate he's got air so you need to...

Re: 4/180 Do you call the river All In?
Yeah forgot to delete the final pot bit - really hungover today, not thinking properly.
The reason I called the turn bet is villain was very aggressive on flop and turn, and is clearly able to...

4/180 Do you call the river All In?
Villain is a winning player according to OPR and has a 38% ROI.
His stats are 30/18 VPIP/PFR.
So a decent player capable of a few tricks.
Theres about 12 left so we're ITM and my image is tight...

Re: 4/180 - UTG All In From a Short Stack
The pot odds to call are (6071)/(6071+6671+600+300+7*50) = 43.4%.
Assuming the range given by cheburashka we have 44% equity so it's a +cEV call.
By the way, with a 10k stack you should be in...
