Re: AQ on dangerous board
I fold with or without a read. Even though a set is unlikely QT isn't. And JJ isn't a distant possibility. You can call if you know that villain has KJ but not AJ. I think it's a clear fold.

NL newbie $1/2
Villain was 35/35/2.5 after 30 hands. A few hands earlier, villain open raised $7 and I bet $21. He called and check/folded to my $20 flop bet. My reraise to $12 was to try to mix it up and keep...

frozendeck probably gets most of his numbers from defending the blinds religiously and stealing with any Ace and any King from both the CO and button. He probably also does things like 3bets TJs...

I think he also calls down a little light.

That's an understatement. The only guy who calls down more than him is orangedust.

Re: ***Official FTP Regs Thread***
Yea, I have seen him overvalue naked aces in a bb and small pairs on broadway flops. But after 10k hands, he is only one of 3 that I have who is a winner. There are 5 others who are near breakeven.

Any thoughts on the 3/6ers named "SteadyHands"

He only rarely plays 5/10 but I know him well from 3/6. He's really into winning the absolute most when ahead.

wow, I seriously doubt he's going to fold two broadway cards here even spadeless

Re: Hands, that frustrate me
I gonna be a douchebag for a minute. There are two ways to look at this:
Mathematically
2-1 that he has a spade draw, an out-of-left field six, or that one of your draws will come in.
8-1...

When I read the title I knew my answer would be no. I would play this passively as well, assuming I'm WA/WB. Just be careful and don't let the good player try and push you out of this pot...

I don't mind it. Board is super uncoordinated so there's no need to risk scaring out the third party. Even if you weren't necessarily thinking about that it's not a terrible play. You have to be...

Re: AKs turn/ river play
Just because a guy is tight doesn't mean he won't cold call A4s or K4s. A4s is even standard for most TAGs. However, he still probably has a Ten but after 160 hands you don't know how he plays...
