Re: Question about Beating the Rake
Uh, after two weeks of playing 8 hours a day of a rake structure like that, you probably could have flown to vegas and gotten a room for a week at the Orleans, plus payed for the $12 ($7+5 tip) cab...

Re: How to play top set? PL$1/2

Can somebody explain to me the concept of "Leverage" betting used at high level deep stack games?
Or at least give a decent go at what they think it means.

Re: $8-$16 Hold\'em hand ... California style
Yea, once I identify his hand, I'm a big dog, but with 4 limpers making all those calls, I'm pretty confident I'm really only increasing my variance at this point, and on occasion I'll save that 1/2...

Re: 2/4 plo8 bodog OOP
You're not going to pull off a check raise on the turn and have the winning hand here. You could C/C the flop, Check the turn, then value bet the river vs. AA, but with the low draw out there, you...

Re: 2/4 plo8 bodog OOP
Doesn't matter, unavoidable. Only way out was to C/R flop and get villian to fold. Once you C/C, you were doomed, unless deep stacked and could lay it down on the turn to a raise of a PSB.

Re: 2/4 plo8 bodog OOP
I'll probably check. Man in the middle rule for me. Give villian chance to bet and other limper chance to act. Yields the most amount of information. Given the nature of the game, the other...
