Re: flush against huge donkey on a trips board
Turn bet is fine I guess. I would probably do it myself at the table. But I don't like preflop at all. If the table is passive I'd rather limp. There's no guarantee that a raise will isolate the...

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
Against that kind of player I would 4-bet preflop most of the time, but a call is fine too.
On the flop I really like a min-raise. It's big enough that he doesn't get odds to call with AK, and it's...

To those saying to bet 80-90-
The difference btw 80 and 110 here is only 8 BBs....doesn't betting 110 instead of 80 increase our FE dramatically?

Re: Riverpush w/ AK justified?
I would raise flop to ~70-75. Also I would raise turn to ~90-100. And AI on river is fine imo. The hands that beat you are KT, TT and slowplayed monsters. I think he calls with worse enough.

Re: 200NL Bad River Card
How can this be anything but a fold?
He has AQ, AJ, AT, A9, Axcc or perhaps a 9 almost every time.
He's not turning a made hand into a bluff.

Would you ever crai a set/twopair here?

With more history I would some of the time. But with just the reads from OP, never.

Re: combo draw vs unknown
I think if we really had a good enough hand to CRAI for value, it would be bad to give a free card by checking. So it looks weird if we do that, and he might call us with TT, 99 or pair of 8s.
I...

Re: Big fold with top pair and nfd
Since there are a lot of good arguments here for both sides and still no conclusion, I decided to make some calculations. Hopefully they will help a little.
If he always has a set and pays off...

Re: Fold your boat sir.
I think it's probably EV+ to go AI, but I think it's better to bet whatever amount he will think is a bluff to make him fold a board split. Probably a small bet, but it could also be closer to pot...

Re: AJ vs donk
I don't see the point in three-betting the flop, when all it does is take away his opportunity to bluff the turn.
The only draw we should be afraid of is a wheel draw, and that's 4 outs. I think...

Re: AJ vs donk
Definitely not b/3/b with this history. If you think it will be EV+ to call an AI on turn, think for a bit, and call flop. He will sense weakness and try to push you off your hand more often on turn....

Re: Second pair any good here? [200NL]
This is very often trip 9s +, trying to get value from your ace.
He could also be betting an ace, since he knows you're almost never ahead of him. You could fold a split or call with a worse hand,...

Re: 54s vs. Reg
Everything before river c:r is standard obviously.
At first I liked your fold, but after thinking about his probable hands, I think he has J8 or a bluff too often to fold. You're probably beat, but...

Re: 100NL JJ 3-way-pot overpair
This is an easy call. He has a draw almost always. If he had a bigger pocket he would have played it differently preflop, and if he had had a set he would have c/r:ed.

Re: 57o in Blind Steal Situation Deep
I don't think the hand was horribly played. But I would play it a bit differently. I wouldn't always call this pf, but whatever. On the flop I would only call mostly, and if I raised I would only...
