Stacks of 20, pyramid tower.

Standard for me. The bigger the pyramid (actually the correct geometric term would be 'triangular prism'), the higher the stack. With $1...

Re: any 2 sooted in the BB
depends on the raiser and how many are in the pot. If it is only a few, I'd muck 82s, 72s or 73s. I might keep something like 10xs.

European cheques (those rectangular ones)
Does anyone know the denomination of those cool looking rectangular poker chips they use in such events as the WPT Paris or the Monte Carlo Millions? Are they usually used for high-stakes games?

Re: KK on Q-hi board: Take this to Value Town?
Yeah, he didn't cap PF, so I don't have him on AA. But AQ and QQ are reasonable calls here in EP. I thought about leading the turn and 3-betting if raised. I should have because I was the last one...

If by "crying call," you mean "laughing fold," then yeah. If you're going to check the turn with the intention of folding (I assume), then if the river blanks off, that changes nothing. ...

OK... this is weird. I just had an almost identical situation with JJ. I raised from MP1 and got a couple callers. This time I bet the flop (KQx) and the button calls and BB calls. We all check a...

He might be right, but one thing isn't said at this place; you get a very tough decision after the flop with cards like that. Per se, you've got pocket 9h/6h and the flop hits 9s/7d/3h......

Re: JJ with two overs
Interesting input. Thanks. I did check-call and folded the turn when I didn't improve. Now in retrospect, I'm thinking a flop bet wouldn't have hurt (since I was planning on committing 1 SB...

Re: .02/.04 Turn call with overs?
I never thought discussion over a .02/.04 hand could be so informative. Thinking back, most of you are right, my outs are a lot less than 6. I very well could be up against A9s or AQ. If I am, I'm...

.02/.04 Turn call with overs?
