Re: Reasonable hourly rate?
Yeah, I started out playing longer sessions but now I'll sit for less than an hour when waiting for 4/8, 6/12, etc. My last 24 "sessions" are less than an hour, many are like .1 or .2 hrs

Re: Reasonable hourly rate?
I don't really play 3/6 anymore unless I'm waiting for a bigger game, but here are my numbers since March of last year when I started playing at b&m's in L.A.--
102 sessions
297.7 hours

Re: smooth vs cold call
Smooth calling is calling a raise when you have a decent chance to have the best hand and want to punish an early player's aggression. Cold calling is when fish call my under the gun raise with KT...

Re: More 4/8 fun
grunch--
1: easy peel, 11:1 for 2 pr or weak ass back door draws is fine, especially closing the action.
2: I probably call this live still getting 11:1 closing the action, but with time to...

nothing to add other than I think this is an excellent observation.
[ QUOTE ]
I don't like the preflop raise size here. With a shortstack of t260 and a weak and hard to play hand like JJ, I...

low M, 88 in the sb vs early position raise
PS Hundred Grand. I've been at this table a while. I've shown down pretty solid hands, M at 5.2. Villain (28.1/21.9/0 over 32 hands) is one of the chip leaders. He's raised the last 3 hands in a...

Re: Protecting hand in small pots...
yes the chances of your hand being best are much higher when you have top pair vs 2 opponents, regardless of your kicker. make someone pay to hit their ace on the turn.
