Re: $10 JJ facing shove and call @15/30
Agree about a raise preflop here with this stack, 4xBB, then with more action or overs on the flop, throw it away. The non-raise PF is due to playing JJ as middle pair I guess, something I do myself...

Re: AA middel, 3k chip vs 3kchip
Make it 275-300 on the flop. Then 750 on turn. The rest of the hand depends on what buy-in you are playing. On micro and low levels, you must just call any bet at least. At higher levels, I guess you...

Re: $27s tough spot with JJ
If you read him to have you beat post flop, wouldn't the same be the case preflop? Because calling with jacks to hit a set cant be +EV? So I guess you either have to fold preflop or call his push now.

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
I don't think it's smart to mess with the structure. And I do think you should be seriously considering doing some (at least minor) reductions of the rake in the turbos. You have lost a lot of high...

Re: 16s: Getting short with 99 facing a TAG raise
It's close. My instinct tells me to push the first one and fold the second one. This because i expect to see a bit more strength from mid position in hand 2 than from cut-off in hand 1. Also, there...

Re: 6.50 - 88 in EP with 12bb
I am not too happy about shoving here to pick up the 250, but if you are pretty confident you will not get looked up by anyone - then I guess a push is ok. Borderline case both stackwise and...

A trap is probably the least likely of his plays, he prob has Qx or 4x that he won't fold.
I called flop, blanked turn where he min bet again, so I called again, blanked the river and...

Re: 27: hit flop w/ ak, safe board
How about checking the flop, hoping for some action by a 1010-QQ hand, or perhaps by a KQs hand (do they raise with such garbage?). Just calling a flopbet. If no action on flop, then a weakish...

Re: $16: KQ flops TOP PAIR!
Most of the time I guess you are up against a middle pair. But you can't ignore the risk he has made a set on his low limping pp. But I guess you have to reraise anyway, and not easy to find the...

Re: 6.50 - K7 hits a 7high flop, <10BBs
I like it if it wasnt for TWO players limping with 13-14% of their stack and even a third limper and a SB completing. What hands do you expect them all to have? Not any small or medium pairs? And...

Re: 6.50 - TPNK with only 12bb\'s
My flop bet would only be 180'ish here due to my critical stack size at this point of the tourney and I would certainly fold to any action by some of the others in this hand.

Re: $16: Turned two pair BvB
I like the flop betting. Do you want the turn push to look like a bluff, or to get paid by a K?Qs type of hand?

Re: 27: TT overpair vs unknown level 1
A raise to 120 on level 1 can be anything from crap to a guy with QQ-AA wanting to get some value from a premium hand at such an early stage. It's annoying raising to 60 with aces, get one caller,...

Twice today the same scenary. One of the first hand in tourney I "look down" at KK. Both times an unknown raises to about 100, I make it 300 and the other guy pushes.

Re: $20 Stars SNG - What is going on here?....
1. UTG raises way too much, a limp or maximum a standard raise to 90 is the best play - I don't play the best play here so I fold with 99 UTG at lvl 2.
2. Buttons play after the 330 raise is OK,...
