Re: 3/6 JJ in a 5-way pot with ace on flop
Most of time, in this ki,nd of spots if you choose to make your continuation bet, I think you should bet/fold the turn.
However in this case you get called by 2 opponents on a ace-high board with...

Re: big pot 2nd pair
Same here. You can't check that.
Beware of UTG : he coldcall 2 bets on a cap. Then he must know someone has a big PP or AK.
I'd be extra careful here.
Don't get married to your queens.

I don't see how it could be correct to fold the flop. We are ahead well over 50% of the time.
Call the flop and donk the turn, if he's loose-passive like you're saying. When he fires back...

Re: fsdr with 77 on a dry board
I don't see what you gain by raising the turn.
If ahead : you're protecting yourself against 3 or 6 outs. hmmm
If behind : you offer him a 3bet
I'd calldown.
But if he donks the river, I'd fold.

Re: Top pair raised on the turn
I think I agree with what some of you said about these limits.
I very very rarely see a turn raise I was ahead of.
I'll sum it up that way :
- playing "by the book" is a calldown.
- considering...

I think we have to worry about villain not betting AA, KK and AQ here. For a TAG he is not that aggressive, and given how the hand played out the flushdraw is a big concern for him.

Re: A2s flops trips, fast play

Just like a WAWB situation ? calldown if he bets and bet if he checks ?
My understanding of Oink's advice is to C/R the flop cause vilain is not going to bet or...

Re: 3bet in blind defence vs LAG
I think :
- I C/C against over-agressive.
- I bet/fold against unknown : the K may help you and unless he's very agressive, I think (but may be wrong) that it's quite difficult to raise this turn...

Re: interesting River decision/nut straight on 3flush paired board .5/
I just don't see raising as an option :
- a made flush will call => you're beaten and lose 1 more BB
- the nut flush will cap => You lose 1 or 2 more bets
- worse hands will fold because of the...

Re: Secon best???
I'd raise preflop.
On the flop, it depends what you mean by "never semibluffing", but anyway, you've got the odds to peel here.
I think I would cap the turn and bet/call river.
or C/R the...

Re: Bet/fold on the river
You're ahead on A2,A6,A7 and KK.
I just can't see a loose passive(postflop) player waiting for the river to raise with these hands. Not even 1 in 10.
Fold here.

He won't often call with a worse hand.
You 3 bet him preflop : there is a good chance that you have an ace => he won't call with a 9.
Furthermore a bet would give him an opportunity to raise if...

Re: .50/1 A10 button hand
Why not a river bet ? What are you afraid of ?
J8 had already a str8.
He will have Tx, 7x, 3x, low PP a LOT more than a Q or KJ. And he will call with these hands.
Bet bet bet.
