Re: Good call?

Sorry, my mistake, it's $3.51 into $5.39. But yeah, the 7x4 thing is just an estimation. Plus, don't try to bluff or steal pots from people at .02/.05; they don't know how to fold.

Re: Good call?

Middle Position had you covered. On the flop he only put $3.67 in, not $6.54. You were putting $3.51 in to win $5.23, you did not even have 2-1.

Re: 6 handed NL Holdem Home game

First of all the bet on the flop is awful. $0.16 into a $1.56 pot. What are you trying to accomplish with this?

Re: Bad Play or Bad Luck?

Pre-flop: Fold
Flop: Raise to 1600
Turn: Raise to 1500 or 2000
River: 8-outer, not that bad.

Re: Good Fold or No?

Normally, you would be right but in freerolls, there is no logic.

That said, in an actual game of Poker, you would've made the right move.

Re: Poker After Dark thread (Bracelet Winners - Thursday-Friday)

Hmm, it's before the flop in a 3-handed winner-take-all and someone playing extremely aggressive over-bet the pot and I have A-Q suited... PUSH.

Re: Poker After Dark thread (Bracelet Winners - Thursday-Friday)

Hellmuth has played so terribly the entire tournament; he is completely outclassed by TJ and Doyle.

Re: Poker After Dark thread (Bracelet Winners - Tuesday)

I find it hilarious how Hellmuth was bitching about Siedel hitting a better two-pair on the river when Hellmuth raised to 1000 with Q-3 offsuit in early position.

Playing Too Tight?

(Assume the play is 9-10 handed and I am above 20x the BB)

I mostly play in tournament formats and I'm a very tight player. I'll raise with 77-KK, AJ-AK and if it's a table that likes to see flops...
