Re: $6 Stars Big Decision
The tighter he's pushing, the better a fold is, and vice versa.
I would just label him loose or tight, and go with the corresponding action.

Re: $16- 18 man A9s push over raise on bubble?
According to sngwiz, he'd have to be pushing pretty wide to make this a call(+ev).
I would need to know reads on the player in order to make this call. He is throwing half of his stack out there,...

Re: The Fine Line Between FPS and Being a Robot
In moshman's book he explains why doubling up early and taking risks doesn't work.
The reason is that doubling up early does not double your tournement equity.
He gave an example of two other...

Re: $3.40 level 1 bad call?
First to act cbet into 2 people is enough to make me fold and underpair.
What are you going to get value from here? Only a missed hand spew, and an idiot who overplays mid pair. I don't think...

Re: AQ from the SB, what to do?
Do you guys really shove this early in a SNG? Even with 30BBs?
I kinda like the way he played it, I think he got more value out of it because the player had so many chips and was willing to call...

Re: SB 44 short stacked
sngwiz said these guys would have to be calling pretty lose to make this a bad shove.
So it looks good.
ps-you are BB not SB

Re: getting more value from top set
I'd say you did ok, you got pocket 3's to put 900 chips in on that board, lol.
Personally, I would have made a "probe bet" on the flop of about 1/3rd the pot, since it may look like a positional...

Re: Top Pair Q kicker, did i play this right?
I agree with steve, should have folded preflop.
You don't wanna be limping with hands like this under the gun, and this hand is a good example of why.
You play the entire hand out of position...

Re: limping from the button
Not trying to be rude, but what are you trying to accomplish by limping preflop with this hand?
And what are you raising for on the flop? Do you want him to fold or are you betting for value?

Re: 3.40 JJ on Q high flop
I agree, this hand was played good. With JJ I usually fold if someone is putting money in the pot with overcards on the flop.
I might stick out a probe bet in your position on the flop though,...

Re: [$33]
When I'm in this position I like to keep the pots small against the bigger stack unless I have a monster.
So here I would have just played the entire hand passively, getting out unless I hit a big...

Re: $22 QQ reraised, JT9 flop
I would have shoved preflop as well, 3rd best hand in the game and he'll probably call, and if he doesn't, then you pick up some chips anyway.

Re: 22$ - Early, strange KK hand
I would call for the same reasons stated before, if your beat now, you have outs, and if you aren't beat, then you are gravyyyyyyy.

Since you say he's horrible, I would instashove just like you did. The reason is because when they are really that bad, every action they make usually means what it appears to mean.
So since he...

Re: $1 PS, shove good?
No, I didn't get beat by pocket fours.
I figured I would get them all to fold since it was just a limp fest, but if you can believe it, the third limper had AKos.
I see now that I should have...

$1 PS, shove good?
UTG and CO have vpip > 30, mp is 18, and others left to act are in the 20's.
Table has been extremely aggressive with lots of all ins preflop.
My shove felt good considering the multiple...

Shoving seems like a better option after his slightly less then half pot bet. The only problem is I figured it was very possible...

Re: Spot any mistakes?
what is the reasoning for shoving preflop?
We have > 10 BB's, as does villain. Isn't shoving bad since you won't get paid off by idiots who call a shove postflop with bottom pair?

Re: $12 QQ Ace and flush cards
I would have raise more preflop, since he is sitting at 13BBs and with your raise he only must call 2BBs, leaving him still in good shape if he whifs and folds to flop bet.
Make him put himself...

Re: $11 Flush draw; semibluff or fold?
how do you have no reads? no pt/pahud or other stat tracker?
either way, as played I would probably pushed this, since there is most likely FE, facing a King in most spots.
Reads would help. ...

Re: $33+3 A9s on the bubble
Wiz lets you put in the player's prev action, such as raise to 800.
I put this hand in and it was only a push if the players range is pretty damn wide.
