Re: Flopping trip tips

If you flop the bottom end, or if there's a draw, play it really fast. If the other card on the board is lower than yours, and there is no good draw out, you can slow down a bit.

Re: LIVE $3/6/12 vs. $3/6 and/or $4/8 -Experienced replies

If you're playing against opponents who don't make the adjustment, and you do the new structure will be very advantageous.

You can be more speculative, and there will also be opportunities to...

Re: How do I protect my hand?

I'm not suggestind doing it on a regular basis, but just this situation, or ones similar to it. If I go into a river heads/up, I will almost never fold to a raise if my bet wasn't a bluff to begin...

Re: Uncomfortable carrying large sums of money...please help

This is not really an issue for me since I never need more than a few bills in my games.

Why don't casinos band together to create a sort of large-sum bearer note that they would all honor and...

Re: QJ suey from C/O. Is this river decision easy?

Definite call. Your turn check makes lots of 2-pairs or good aces want to bet there. He might even be trying to bluff it. I'd expect to end up against a flush maybe 70% of the time.

Re: Tough spot with QQ. 4-8 Live

Lots of beatable hands are possible there. I would 3-bet, and call down if it's 4-bet. You'll also be making the button pay more.

Re: How do I protect my hand?

check-calling is different. I might do that, because the chance of a bluff when it's checked to one of them is much higher. In fact, I'm leaning towards this instead of bet-folding. Calling a raise...

i think it's possible to eke out (overcoming the rake i mean) a win if you're a skilled player. i actually think, assuming you can build a table image, that smart lag is more...

As played bet the river for value and fold to a raise.

Re: How do I protect my hand?

I don't think you should wait until the turn. If you wait until the turn to check-raise, you would run the risk of giving a free card, since most players in last position probably won't bet with...

Is the Rake Beatable?

... without being a nit?

I'm sure you've all seen this question before, but can a reasonably live 3/6 game (one with about 1 money-flinger and 3 or 4 other fish) be beaten?

Looking at my last 2...

Game Selection

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but have been occasionally playing low-stakes (3/6 and 6/12) in B&M for several months now.

I've noticed some games have been much tougher than others, but don't know...
