Re: Misdeal ruling regarding the button

The place I play at changed the rule recently on a exposed card on the button.

At first the card would have been replaced by the 4th card from the bottom. They later changed it (the was it is...

Re: 2-7 Single Draw NL

[ QUOTE ]

It's a WSOP game, and no other online casino is spreading the game. Pokerstars could put hundreds of newly minted expert players into the WSOP event by spreading the game and offering...

Re: NL: tossing in less than a full raise...binding or not? (Chicago R

I know how this would be ruled at the local casino's around where I live.

Any chip over the amount of the bet brough across the line is considered a raise , unless you verbally anounce a call. ...

Re: A player has to leave mid-tourney - what happens with his chips?

[ QUOTE ]

How is this an angle shoot? If you build a big stack, you can just as easily sit there and fold every hand and make the money...exactly the same as being blinded off. There is nothing...

Re: Weird Betting Structures

Suited connectors would be golden as there would be no way to get raised out preflop, but you can still get the entire value out of them when they hit.

My guess is that it would be a lot like...

Re: 2-7 draw or pat?

I agree that with 2 callers in front this is an easy call.

Best play would be to draw 2 to a 754 and see what happens from there. You most likely fold if you don't hit a 2. In a 4 way pot it is...

Re: 2-7 Starting hands

[ QUOTE ]
I don’t know that I would 1) put a straight draw like 2-3-4-5 in Group 2

[/ QUOTE ]

Remember that 2-3-4-5 is not an open ended straight draw. An A-2-3-4-5 will still beat a pair or...

Re: Chinese poker question

I should mention that we do NOT play table stakes. We usually don't even use chips, just a pen a paper and settle up at the end of the session.

Re: chinese poker question

I've always played it where you don't pay off any hands until all 3 hands have been compared. You keep track of the total wins and losses and then settle them up after all the hands are compared.

Time collection fees

For those of you who play in games with a time collection, what is the standard amount per 1/2 hour.

Please also include the limits you are playing.

Thanks.

Mid limit mixed games

I've played the 10/20 mix game at the Wynn (with 3x draw and NO holdem! /images/graemlins/smile.gif) , but that game doesn't seem to get together much anymore. Are there any other card rooms that...

Re: 50K Buy-in WSOP H.O.R.S.E Tourney

The Kansas City lowball and the $5000 PLO w/ rebuys (they aren't holding that event this year) are effectively $10,000 buy ins (since they include an add on) and in reality, you are playing behind if...

Re: Oklahoma Card rooms...which one should I go to?

The best cardroom is at Thunderbird casino in Norman.

The rake is only $3 while every other card rom in the state rakes 4.

They also have a lot of bonuses, like on fridays after 9 aces...

Re: Broad Stud Hi/Low PF question

KKx is generally not a good starting hand in HiLo. If you are playing 8oB I would only play 3 low suited, 3 low to a straight, AAlow, or 3 cards to a wheel and only raise with AA2, AA3, AA4, AA5,...
