Re: NL $200 - 88 hits set in 3bet pot vs nit

The nit is prob runnin somethin like 11/9/1 and you add (AcJc, AcTc, Ac9c, A8s, Ac7c, Ac6c, Ac5c, Ac4c, Ac3c, Ac2c) into pokerstove for an accurate equity calculation? I think your giving original...

Re: 100NL, AQ TPGK gets check-minraised on turn

This guy could be calling with a sc like 6h7h in the BB knowing that UTG is comin along to try and hit a nice flop. With this play, he could be representing the 4 as a bluff card if he doesn't hit...

Re: NL100: protection, VB or pot control vs. passive station

I'm curious why you would pot that flop against a station without a hand such as 77+?

Re: Hit backdoor flush on river, get minraised.

J9 got there...I wouldn't be afraid to raise him 45 more. Btw why not put the turn?

Re: Pooh Bah post

I'm assuming that he is saying don't give up on a pot you initially opened for based on continued aggression. In a 99 example, calling the flop and seeing if he checks the turn allows you to play...

I throw in a 1/2 psb on the flop and play from there.

[/ QUOTE ]

No thanks.

And while you're there, how about explaining why instead or just stating a random line?

Re: The Nuts....Kinda

I wouldn't be hasty to put it all in on the flop. As played, call the check raise and shove any non heart turn.

Re: NL200 - top set, turned top boat... help me make it pay

Bet turn! I like the flop call in order to extract from spicy turn cards. As played, nh.

Re: Stars 1/2- 77 Facing a small turn bet???

Call and reevaluate river. If he goes crazy on the river just make a note of it. This bet feels like villain is begging for Hero to go over the top of him.

Re: JJ against a TAG

As played, I fold. I don't enjoy calling all ins with middle pair on the flop. To make matters worse, you bet and show opponent you like your hand and he then pushes the flop. Could anyone put a hand...

Re: I spike my river and get checkraised all in?

This guy checked the turn and then pulls a CR on river. Looks to me like you are trying to justify the squeeze on the river. If you wanted to see if you were wa/wb then why don't you take a b/c line...

Re: Live 200NL: Weird spot w/ KK

If you base villain as being a solid player then you might take into account the hands he plays when one player limps, 1 raiser and another caller. I.e looks down at 4s4c/Td9d/6d7d etc and decides to...

Re: Curious about play on some hands..

Reraise preflop if you want to play that hand in hand 1. With a hand like that, you want to take control, otherwise your most often behind villain's betting range if you just call.

Reraise the...

Re: AK flops TPTK facing the Shoves Mcgee (50nl 6max)

Ever thought he called preflop with a 56 of hearts or something and made bottom 2 and wanted all the money in off the flop with the SB just cold calling your flop bet? Maybe he made this move hoping...
