Re: JJ Hardy, ss from the Brewers
He's a contact hitter, really doesn't strike out much. His rookie year he batted like .180 in the first half and then batted over .300 the second half. He was injured most of last year. Go Brewers!

Re: Recent most lopsided MLB trades.
Brewers trade Richie Sexson to the Diamondbacks for infielders Junior Spivey, Craig Counsell, Lyle Overbay, catcher Chad Moeller, and pitchers Chris Capuano and Jorge de la Rosa.
Sexson played...

Re: Two hand I am unsure of
I think a valuebet on the river is good, he'll pay off with a fair amount of stuff. I call the raise but don't like it.
Hand 2 is pretty close, I think his range is definitely looser than...

Re: Button issue at Party (multi tablers)
I've played probably 75 tourneys with no problems on an older machine (4-6 tables). However, I play at empire instead of party, so I'm wondering if empire is safe from the disappearing buttons...

Re: B2B network ban on US players
[ QUOTE ]
Are they going to close all US accounts on 9/1 or will they grandfather in existing players and stop taking new ones? Here's hoping for the latter.

Re: B2B network ban on US players
This sucks. I play almost exclusively at B2B as I focus mainly on SNGs and MTT, and I like their 200 person or so MTTs with extremely weak fields.

Re: Party shootouts
Yeah they're pretty awful. The fact that your chipstack for the next round is based on how many chips you ended the last SNG makes them even worse, when I played one I had 40BB when it got down to 3...

Re: $22- Let the Big Stacks fight it out?
Really, people had been going out in a hurry and I hadn't really been pushing yet. Usually I find I'll have good FE on pushes until they figure out what I'm doing which takes a while. But if the...

Re: $22- Let the Big Stacks fight it out?
Ok that's what I thought. I've been running iffy and it was kinda an odd situation so I wondered a bit afterwords. Also, obviously I'm trying to get action with my kings, at the lower levels people...

$22- Let the Big Stacks fight it out?
How often does the other big stack call the 4 bet allin? How often does the 4 bettor have AA? Both players had been playing "reasonably" for a 22 player, so i don't think either is tricky enough to...

Re: 11s: turn semibluff, river bluff
I think pf is fine, i don't mind completing from the SB at early levels, your implied odds are great. I just don't think your draw combined with your fold equity against two players makes the turn...

Re: 11s: turn semibluff, river bluff
There's no reason to be semi-bluffing with a hand as weak as yours early, especially in an 11. Donks love to call, and bluffing them is a losing proposition. Just play solid hands and value-bet...

Re: 11r - limped early TT hand
Ack... I hate these type of hands. I always tell myself that if I limp TT I'm playing it for set value only. Of course then you get that nice looking pot with your overpair...
