Re: Limp caller check min raises on a paired board
On the river, the villain has ~$5 left, and with his check, I'm definetly interested in trying to get as much of that $5.05 into the pot as possible. I probably bet ~1/2 pot and hope he shoves non...

Re: NL10 22 in BB - limpers
with everyone limping, I check 22 and hope for a set. There's really no value to this hand unless you hit the set, so be happy to see a cheap flop
In 10NL, you'll either take down the pot, which...

Re: 50NL Full House, River Action
let me make this clearer
against a AA,JJ,99,AJs+,KJs,QTs,AJo+ range you are 78% favourite, call shove and don't look back
the only reason you raise and not shove yourself is because he might fold...

Re: 50NL Full House, River Action
fold to shove? really?
I think villain is calling here with a flush and maybe a straight/set all day long, what are you afraid of? AK, KJ, AA? I think even passive villains bet AK/KJ/AA, although...

Re: Do I dare with a mere two pair?
ehhhh, at the 10NL, against a $2.30 villain 88 = the nuts
shove turn, I'd even consider calling a river shove, it never ceases to amaze me how often people call with absolute garbage at 10NL (I'm...

Re: 50NL KK
why wouldn't you bet turn?
he could be doing this with AK, AQ, AJ, QJ, 77, JJ+ and possibly even some weird hands like 9T (doubtful though). I think QQ/AA and often AK are reraising you PF though,...

Re: Terrible River for AA
Why did you want to be sneaky? if you don't have a read on villain, what makes you think that just calling will get more value than raising? Calling just encourages button, SB AND BB to overcall...

Re: NL50 TT time to fold?
since you're keeping track of his stats, what is his cbetting range? a 28/10 does not re-raise light, and a passive one doesn't cbet light either... I think you're up against JJ+ or AK... If his...

Re: 50NL: Question about c-betting shortstacks
hand 1, I bet less, like ~$2, and fold to raise, unless I am convinced that villain will shove with air here. Also, I fold PF AT, but maybe I'm a nit.
hand 2, I am more willing to call against...

I don't chat unless I strongly feel that by chatting I can make a fish tilt or stay if he was otherwise going to leave... (i.e. I don't chat :P)

Re: Best rake for microstakes?
rakeback is definetly key. When I was first starting out 4-5 months ago rakeback and bonuses allowed me to eat up a lot of mistakes as I was learning without having to redeposit. Also, I think every...

Re: 25 NL: Terrible?
your play seems really random and uncoordinated to me :S
I fold KQo UTG all day long (unless I have some really good reasons not to... if my image is terrible I definetly fold)
also, definetly...

Re: NL50: AK 4 bet pot deepstacked.
I get up and leave this table ASAP
1. you have a table coach (telling you about squeezing)
2. you have people who are aware of 2+2 and are openly talking about it, which is just bad for everyone at...

Re: AQo flops nut flush draw...
I think the best case scenario here is much much much more likel than the worse case scenario... two made flushes are unlikely, and I think even one made crappy flush bets out more here as they are...

Re: 3 hands against loose players
preflop is standard, flop is standard... on the turn I'd be scared, but he's semi bluffing any time you're not betting...
check-call a reasnobly small bet is probably still the better line. I think...

Re: 25nl Bottom set on turn.
Villain is raising a really wide range here PF, I don't think checking a flop with a flush draw that has been checked to him is out of the question (he could opt to check some low suited connectors),...

Re: 10 nl a high calldown
I've done these myself and from experience I'd much rather have at least bottom pair to call down villains who I think are on a complete bluff, there are just much better spots, we're trying to make...

Re: NL 10 two tough hands
oh also, bet more on the flop of the second hand as well, on a two flush draw flop I would often bet 90%-100% of the pot just because most villains willing to call a flush draw for $1 may be willing...
