Re: NL10 Pocket 10\'s OOP HUD ??

I think you missed the chance you needed to get information. By betting out you represent a stronger hand it he raises you then I think you can fold. Of course if he just calls you don't really know...

Re: Which hands do you guys push?

I'm not sure what your bank roll is, but if I might make a suggestion. I like the 45 person sit and gos on poker stars. it will give you the full range of situations that you will need to make...

Just at first glance, i think calling looks kinda bad here for a few reasons:

Re: Odd 45-man bubble hand

I think the question you have to ask yourself is "Do I have fold equity if I shove?" I think if the answer is yes even if its only a 5% chance then I think the correct play is to shove. If you feel...

Re: 99 did I have the right odds to play this to the river?

Thanks for the feedback. I had a feeling I played it poorly. I like the advice about raise or fold. Like "theory of Poker" says Calling is almost always the worst option. I ended up winning the...

99 did I have the right odds to play this to the river?

I figure the preflop call is standard. After the flop I thought I was getting good odds to hope to hit my set. If I had seen any aggression I probably would have folded. So was this a fairly...

Re: .02/.05 game PokerStars Flopped top set

Thanks for the feed back. I think there are two lesson I should take from this hand:
1. When you make a strong hand don't be afraid to bet it. If they fold then so be it.
2. If there are draws...

Re: .02/.05 game PokerStars Flopped top set

Good points. But I just don't want to give up trying to extract the most money when I make a good hand. I think .70 would have been too much but maybe .40-.50 This way I am technically giving him...

Re: QQ--raggy flop, minraised and oop

I don't like pushing here the stacks are still deep and you are loosing value. I would put him on one of two hands. 10 with good kicker or a set. I would raise between 1000-1500 and see what he...

Re: Best overlays on Stars low buy-ins? Advice please

I like to muti-table the 45 max on Stars (not Turbos) They take about 1 1/2 hours to complete. I fire up 2 after the kids are in bed ~8:45 and I am usually in bed by 11 pm EST.
