Your C/C flop line is complete spew. Would you C/C AA-QQ on a small flop? It makes your hand look very weak, and I doubt he is gunna fold mid pp's now. I really like raising more OOP, especially with...

Re: $5 NL 6-Max: I have to call this right?
Bet more on the flop. As played, I think a call on the river is OK against a lot of bad villains. If you win 20% of the time, it's +EV. Some villains are betting thin or bluffing river more than 20%...

Re: Downswing Need Sanity Check from 2+2ers
Gawd,
I read until Jerrys post. Never listen to anything that guy says. You can multitable these games playing tightly and beat them for 25ptbb/100. I seriously would recommend tightening up your...

Re: **Official uNL October Goals Thread**
Blah,
I didn't even come close to my goal of 20K hands of 25NL. Got bored of winning, moved back to 50NL, and I still suck at 50NL.
Goal this month is to beat 50NL for more than...

Re: TPTK vs TAG deepish (with poll)
I think you played the hand so weakly that you have to call. Much more than 10% of the time villain is completely bluffing. If you play a standard TAG game, villain will never put you on TPTK. Lately...

Re: 50NL - When to slow down with AA?
I started raising to $3.50-$4 oop against these guys PF. They call. A lot. Treat it like a 3bet pot and get TPTK or overpairs in. As played, I push river. You really can't fold, and he might call...

Re: I\'m loosing money with AK
Hnd 1 can easily be a combo draw or a set. Take notes on this hand. Hand 2 villain can have anything from a pair to a straight draw to a set. I reraise flop or lead turn. No free turn for him.

But isn't the minreraise a sign of weakness?
[/ QUOTE ]
A tight player getting half your stack into the pot on the flop is rarely weakness.

Re: 25NL - QQ vs overbet from nitty player.
Not a very big sample size, but some of these guys will slowplay AA/KK. I think his button calling range is something pretty tight like AK AA-99. I'm taking AK and half of TT,JJ,KK,and AA hands out...

Re: AA on paired board, let it go?
I wouln't go all-in on the flop. You won't be giving him the chance to bluff you again, and that's really what you're hoping for. I don't mind a turn raise for value.

Re: NL25 JJ Linecheck
3bet PF with premium hands, you don't really want to see a flop 3 ways. Raise the flop, you don't want to see any overcards on the turn, and you very likely have the best hand.
