Re: 2nd pair, turned NFD ($100NLCASH Stars)
Thanks for comments.
Results: I pushed turn on auto-pilot, he had JJ and called quite quickly, obviously.
I'm still not convinced by leading the flop against a passive player who probably won't...

Jay, so I understand what I should be doing... you're advocating betting the flop and...

- carrying on betting if called, or shutting down?
- as played...

2nd pair, turned NFD ($100NLCASH Stars)
Opponent was sitting waiting with $400 odd at Stars $100NL, so may be a regular. We were about even after 15".
Pre-flop he was raising/limping/folding his SB about a third of the time each.
He...

Pretty sure AislePhive is talking about (not folding) the turn, not the river.

An attempt to put some numbers in... (quite rushed, apologies if wrong)
Let's say he has the following range that will bet the river:
- 77 (12 hands), 8{679T}s (16 hands),
- 99-JJ (36 hands),...

Do you think villain will play 77- and 89 like this? (eg personally I'd rarely value bet these on the river).
Even if he does, I think it would be rare for villain to call the check-raise;...

Re: Tough Spot With Bottom 2 (NL400)
Results?
I was a bit surprised by the replies, as when a "basic TAG with occasional moves" pushes the turn here after your super-strong line I would expect you to be behind.

Re: Annoying min-bets on turn and river, 2/4
I think after the flop bet-call (raise more maybe?), you don't have much fold equity on the turn. Therefore just enjoy the mega pot odds he's giving you and call the turn.

Re: Postflop KK line
Anybody else not a big fan of the flop check-call?
On the flop your hand is obviously still good a huge % of the time, but not strong enough to slowplay on that super-coordinated board.
