Re: tourney situation
What position are you in?
In EP I think it is a mistake....
In CO+1 or later, I like it.....if you get called you will likely be an under dog, but with people titening up to sneak past the...

Re: ROI formula?
It would be Winnings-Buyin divided by the buyin times 100%......
riverruss is right only in the case of a $10 buyin....
therefore if you won $80 in a $20 buyin tourney, it would be...

Re: Starting chips
Depends on the blind structure.....
I would think that with that many chips blinds are not going to start out at 10/20...most likely will start at about 50/100...
since it is a live tournament,...

Re: What % of stack is worth a coin flip
it depends.....
if there are live players behind, I would just let it go considering your stack (m=89)
if you are unlikely to get reraise behind, I would say no more than 5%....

Re: In Defense of Limping in the Red Zone
I think I push here.....
If you limp....
1) you are inviting others to come overtop, which you will probably have the odds to call
2) if no one behind raises, and you save your push to the flop,...

Re: AK off in SB
I don't agree, pushing after the flop at this stage wouldn't be that exciting. Why do you suggest a gamble this early in the tourney? He will only be called by a hand that has him beaten and MP2 has...

I agree nath....I think it is probably equally as likely for him to have a bigger pair or smaller pair than your TT, plus he is going to have AK, or maybe AQ sometimes as well.....you probably have...

Re: really wierd $550 turningstone tourney hand
I think I let this one go.....you are really only beating a bluff, and I can't see sacrificing over half of my remaining stack on a pair of 5's with 4 overcards on the board, including an A.....

Re: What to do with Aces up?
Preflop raise is a little small (should be about 0.20)
Due to the recent history, BB range for reraise is may be relatively large pf, but after call on flop, and turn reraise, i'm guessing AK-AT,...

Re: Moving From Tournaments To Cash
What I was trying to say is that in a tourney, you must steal blinds as the tourney progresses because if you don't you will blind out; in a SSNL ring game, however, there are plenty of bad players...
