Re: Top full PL025
Buzz,
Underfull versus top full is one question.
Very, very deep stack top full versus quads is another.
150 bbs with top full versus quads is a cooler, plain and simple.

Re: Gold Strike, Tunica
Last Friday the PLO game at the Gold Strike was 5-10 blinds with a 25 rock and often a 50 live staddle immediately to the left of the rock. It was mostly 6 handed.
I don't think you'll find PLO...

AcTc at Final Table ($9.90)
Final table of $9.90/360 on Stars. I was stealing my fair share, not significantly tighter or looser than anyone else.
What do y'all do with this hand? Fold pre-flop? Raise more, or less? Fold to...

Re: 1/2 NL Grinder
Gold Strike 1/2 is not capped (at least not yet). You can still find some great, deep games there.

Re: KK gets check-raised (NL100)
How wide is his preflop range out of position to call my raise? I agree he doesn't have a 2.
Why check raise the flop? Is that a lower pair, say TT or JJ? How often is he bluffing?

KK gets check-raised (NL100)
Effective stacks are $80.
UTG raises to $3. All fold to me on the button with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif K/images/graemlins/heart.gif. I raise to $13. All fold to UTG who calls the $10.

TT vs. chip leader ($10)
I'm in second place and it's a battle of the blinds as well. Middle stages of the tourney, blinds are 400/800 with 50 ante.
All fold to the small blind, the chip leader (t45,760), who opens to...

Out of practice and out of position
Just starting playing some PLO after a fairly lengthy absence. What is my play on the flop? lead? c/r pot? I'm in the hand to play against UTG+1 and the short stack got in the way.
On the...

Re: poker rooms in the southeast
I just got back from the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. It's got the nicest poker room in the Southeast -- even nicer than the Horseshoe in Tunica. I've never been to Harrah's NO.
Overall I would think...

Out of Position & Weird Stack Size (1/2 B&M)
I have about $165 and am the short stack on the table. There are several stacks above $600 and the big stacks are playing pretty fast and a little loose, but not reckless.
I pick up...

Re: TTxx flops middle set, turn question
based on your description of villian, i'd bet about 2/3 pot
usually in this spot i'd bet around half the pot, but if someone will call light i'd make it more, especially if you're deeper

Re: Mississippi Poker?
Lot of poker in Tunica. Between Horseshoe, Gold Strike, and the Grand you'll find 3-6 to 20-40 limit hold em, 1-2 to 5-10 NLH, 4-8 O8 (w/kill), 1-5 stud, and occasional 10-25 PLO. The tourneys are...

Re: Want to gamble all in blind (M = 8)?
Yeah I was concerned about the 5 to act after me, but this tourney was top heavy: $2,500 for 1st, $1,300 for 2nd, and only about $250 for 6th. There were 44 players left. Basically I had one orbit...

Want to gamble all in blind (M = 8)?
B&M tournament. At the first break I'm down to about 2500. Blinds will be 100/200 (20 min. levels). Average stack is around 6500 to 7000. While on break the big stack at the table offers to go...

Re: Middle set deeeeeeeep OOP vs 2p2er and fish
With those stack sizes, I don't see a made Q flush or J flush not betting the turn. The river seems to be an easy call.
I probably would have bet half the pot or so on the turn. Two pair hands...

Re: What is your longest session ever?
Just got back from Argosy outside Cincy. My wife and I went for our anniversary. We were on the property for 46 hours: sleep 8 hours, poker 30 hours, time with the Mrs. 8 hrs. It was great.

Re: Line Check 1/2PLO
I'd probably call the flop reraise and reevaluate on the turn. I'd be concerned if an A, K, J, T, 8, or low diamond fell. That's a lot of potentially bad cards to dodge. Sometimes I'd bet a...

Re: PLO 100: Did I play this turn well?
I don't mind the flop check. You're out of position with a good but not great hand against several opponents. Sometimes I'll bet this flop, many times I'll check call the flop to (A) keep from...

Assuming Fukkeneh's thought process is reflected in his posts (to some degree), then Strassa is calling him weak.
I mean, come on.
