Re: how much should i miss it

Xaston - that's pretty funny because that was me 2-3 years ago. In 2005, I cashed about $60,000 out of Party Poker, mostly from the 15/30 game. It was from 2006 to present that I realized I...

Re: The well of Truth: If you are bad at poker, come out of the closet

I currently cannot beat 10NL on Full Tilt. I suck! I hope that my RB will be enough to move up and lose money at 25NL soon!

Re: FT 10NL - TPTK on Flop OOP vs PF Min-Raiser

I guess I am a nit because I would fold A9o there preflop. You're OOP with a hand that could get you in a lot of trouble against an early raise, even if it is only a min-raise.

When I'm raised on...

Re: 3xBB or 4xBB?

4 plus 1BB per limper is pretty standard.

Re: Busto! Trip 10\'s - 10NL

Thx for the advice worm. Is my AJ hand facing the river donkbet a better one? I know you already commented on it that I should've bet more on the turn. This probably is better suited for BBV.

Re: TPTK facing 1/2 pot donkbet on river 10NL

So if I think my hand is good on the turn, with a very drawy board like this, I should bet 2x pot?

I was afraid of Q10, and less likely 89 getting there on the turn expecting to get raised and...

Re: NL 10 getting into trouble with 35o lol

I guess completing getting 9:1 is OK, but then after BB raises, shouldn't you release PF then only getting 4.5:1?

Re: 25NL: All i beat is a bluff...right?

I think the river fold is logical.

I'm curious about the turn. Isn't a bet better than a c/c here? Charge the drawer for the flush instead of risking a check behind, especially if you think your...

Busto! Trip 10\'s - 10NL

Worst river bet ever? Will I EVER get a call by a worse hand here?
Do I have to call his river bet for the rest of my stack?
This situation costs me tons and tons of money...I have a good hand and...

Re: Let\'s Try This Again: Which CASINOS should I play at when I am in NYC?

Go to AC. Play at Borgata.

I am in NJ right now on business, and I drove down to AC last weekend. It was my first time at the Borgata and it was first class! I played $2/$5 NL ($500 max), and I...

Re: 2+2er in AC?

I should be at Borgata tomorrow mid-day until tomorrow night. It's just a quick trip in with some co-workers, but I'm planning on playing poker all day.

Re: Stop the bleeding - 5 hands to review

Hand 1 is fine, IMO.

Hand 2 - bet more on the flop and turn. You have a big hand, that is well-disguised...bet big to make more money. Value bet the river and get called by all kinds of Ax...

This isn't something to try against an unknown, I don't think. Without a read that they will bluff-bet the turn, c-betting is still superior.

Re: Standard QQ Turn fold or weak tight?

I think it's a good fold. It looks like you were already behind on the flop, and the turn just confirms to me that you are behind.

Re: 100NL Nit raises me on the flop

I think it's a fold. SB either has a flopped flush, or JJ or 66. Whatever he has we are either behind and drawing without odds or we are practically dead. A big check-raise like that is not likely...
