Not all articles for CP are on the website. You need to find a hard copy of the magazine for that one.

Re: Antonio Esfandiari\'s Aggressive Poker
I was thinking the same thing, but powerful information doesn't need to be drawn out into a 300 page book or 2 hour long video to be taught. I've seen plenty of crappy long videos which teach...

Both books are great and his new book should be finished by the end of the year and published next year is my current guestimate. He made a comment in one of his latest articles.

Re: 3/6NL. Trying to slow down superstacked LAG bully running good
Don't worry about trying to "slow him down". Yes, it may be uncomfortable to play against a good LAG but you want to actually push him further into the AGG part rather than less. See Roy Cooke's...

Re: Discuss: Thoughts on Overpairs
I definitely agree with you that this article has hand reading at its very core. It is by creating hand ranges through "reads" or patterns in an opponents play that allows someone to quantify the...

Re: Discuss: Thoughts on Overpairs
I had played around 500 hands with RP over the week and that is quite a lot in a live poker setting. I had never seen her bluff raise with air or raise a draw ever. She was as straightforward as a...

I recall using a web site a while back that listed winrates for people at sitngos. Does a site like this still exist?

You need to add some reads or metagame info to get valid responses here. What range of hands do you put him on? does he 3 bet light? etc That was a pretty damn small RR PF when he is OOP. Just...

Re: AK how to play?
This is bvb and we are given no reads. It's not unheard of for him to raise flop with top pair.... or maybe you can tell me what he'd raise the flop with at 3/6.

Re: low set on dry board, unreasonable line from villain
BB isnt calling there with A8. Can someone tell me a hand besides 88/55 that calls a flop raise cold OOP with betting still open. 46/67 maybe? I guess that would explain the small turn lead (cheap...

Re: 5-10 KK 200bb deep
You really think a regular 4 bets worse than QQ PF this deep? Unless you have been 3 betting alot, I'd put his range on AA/KK/AK/QQ.
AA and KK are stacking here no matter what. AK will fold to...

Re: AK how to play?
The only bluff hands he could have are 46 or total air. He would be more inclined to bet the turn with total air and 46 isnt too likely in a raised pot. So we should be concluding this is a value...

I dont like this push vs a nit... especially when he raises you with others still in the pot.
easy fold when he raises

Re: 5/10 hand checkup: TT vs LAG reg
Well, he didn't say any special 3 betting range so I assumed a standard of AJ+/KQ/88+.
Can you give me a normal 5/10NL 3 betting range for a LAG?
And give the results in a while if you can...

This may be the most assbackwards way to play this hand possible. Why aren't you betting this flop? and then why raise the turn?

Re: 5/10 hand checkup: TT vs LAG reg
What do you think you are beating when you call the flop? AQ/AJ? After you check the turn, he should have a pretty good idea that you have a mid pair. If you had just floated, you would be betting...

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
I guess what I'd like to emphasize is that you either fold on the flop OR you call the flop and call the turn. You should not call the flop and fold the turn. You are not going to spike a T often.

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise

Re: TT on a 5JJ Flop vs. raise
Can I ask if it is standard to RR PF with TT in this spot? As played I would probably fold on the flop unless MP had the tendency to sometimes mincheckraise the flop and then check the turn.

Re: Playing in retardland...
The only thing the 8 could have changed is making you now even with AJ/AT (if he was RRing light). Against most reasonable villains you would be behind AK/AA/KK here and would be tied with AQ/AJ/AT....
