Re: (NL25) Strange spot with KK on Q high board.

IDK, sometimes, I will call flop bets with AQ on this board just because of the possibility of C-Bets and the player catching absolutely nothing. There are times that I style in with a tight/passive...

Re: (NL25) Strange spot with KK on Q high board.

BTW, if the player has AA, you are going broke a large majority of the time with KK.

Re: (NL25) Strange spot with KK on Q high board.

I'm still calling that. With catching a set, that is four possible hands that beat your overpair. After your $11 bet, you are POT COMMITTED with this hand!

Re: (NL25) Strange spot with KK on Q high board.

I'm thinking he probably caught the queen. Pocket queens is the only thing I'd be worried about against a tight player, and I think you can call this bet/push all-in.

Re: TT turn decision

Even considering his stack size is so small?

Re: TT turn decision

With your stack size compared to the pot, I am probably calling this raise. I don't believe you can fold the overpair in this situation with no flush possibility out there.

Re: 50nl TT on low drawy board facing flop c/r

In my opinion, and the way I play, I'm putting him on a strong overpair. Hands like 88 or 99 would usually bet out on this turn, hoping you completely missed with overcards. His pot-size raise it...

Re: AKo, good spot for 2nd barrel here?

I'd check here. He can very well be slowplaying trips, or be calling down with 2 pair (with a 4 or overpair), or he may now have the flush. Your bet will probably not push this guy out most of the...

Re: QQ hand, not sure what to do.

If he calls turn, and bets the river, I'm gone.

Re: QQ hand, not sure what to do.

I would bet the turn to see where I'm at. He may be on the heart draw, but without his stats, that's the best I could do.

Re: turn minraises tilts me and my overpair....NL50

I'm putting this guy on a 7 with his AF. I'm folding to the minraise.

Re: bottom two facing push

9T, J8, or J7 are the only hands that have you dominated at this point. I'm calling that flop raise, whether he is all-in or not, unless of course he is not very aggressive post-flop.

Re: AKo UTG 25NL

I'm calling the flop raise. He could have an ace with a paint kicker, or the flush draw at this point. He could have gotten trips, but I doubt he would've just called your raise preflop with a...

Re: 25NL QQ on drawy board

I would not fold the turn min-raise, but I would only call instead of coming over the top.

Re: 77 on a paired flop

Once again, depending on the read, you may want to reraise preflop. If you would call the turn, which I would probably do, the river call is good. The pot is really too big to fold there,...

Re: 77 - to call or not to call

I'd wait for a better spot. He could potentially have an overpair without any reads and such. Either that, or he calls PF with crap, and he actually caught the flop. I would say to save your money...

Definitely questionable PFR from middle position 9-handed.

Re: KJo play

After the flop call, I'm concerned about UTG having a Q. A lot of players, especially in micro stakes, like to play top pair passively (i.e.-making small bets and calling raises). I would just call...

Re: 2nl KK faces donk donk donk

I completely agree. You should be pushing with the KK on the turn, trying to get his stack in the middle.

Re: missed flop and turn play

SLOW DOWN! You are most likely beat after that call on the flop. With his raise pre-flop, you are most likely against an overpair. Unless his stats would say different, I'm checking it down after...

Re: AA facing 2 people pushing on flop.

Yeah, the .3 AF makes me fold at this point. I don't care if he's seen 58% of flops or not, I'm probably folding here.

Re: I had nowhere else to turn to... probably nsfw

Move to Pennsylvania, and do your stuff there. It's not statutory here unless the girl is more than 3 years younger than the adult.
