Shove first hand. Bet $40 then call if villian shoves in the second hand.

It's hard to say when you have no reads, but usually a solid player 4 bet PF with QQ KK under blind stealing circumstances. Since you hold an Ace, it's less likely that your opponent has AA. I think you are ahead of KJ QJ PP (non set) quite often to make it a profitable play. Again, since there is no read, my advice is heavy based on the blind stealing situation. If he is somewhat tight, it's a fold

Forgot to mention, that board is dry enough for him to slowplay a set, so I erased that possibility

you have to get it in in both hands. If you don't really want to get it in you should consider checking the flop. But there are 8 cards you don't want to see so betting should be standard.

Should I be playing for stacks here?

You don't have to, but like I said, unless you have good reads, otherwise I would shove

The pot is already more than a quarter of the remaining stacks, what is, under normal circumstances, an easy decision to get it in with TPTK. This board is very dry, meaning you should be less likely to get it in, but I'd still shove hand 1, b/c hand 2.

GRUNCH:

I push in hand 1 but it's very close. i think he does this with Jx and sometimes as a bluff.

Hand 2 i think i C-C to give him a chance to bluff and for value on the river if it's checked through.

Both hands i bet less on the flop fwiw. You can accomplish all the same things with a $16 bet.

Re: I 3bet out of the blinds and am a lil confused

what about calling in hand 1) and c/r turn or shove river?
this way we give him a chance to bluff the turn

How much % of unknown villians range is air here?

Hand 1 is closer than people think, he will show up with QQ and KK a lot here.

Re: I 3bet out of the blinds and am a lil confused

hand 1 is a tough spot.

hand 2 is easy, pause for a sec and shove - make it look like AK so he calls looks u up light. betting anything less looks like a made hand and you'll only get action if youre beat.

my suggestion - don't insta 3bet unknowns preflop since u get put in tough spots postflop. just play small pot poker until you know what youre dealing with
