Default Staying Focused

I want to start off by saying that I consider myself to be by no means a good player, and that most off the people I play with (usually just with my firneds) are bad players. However, I've noticed recently that I have a problem with staying focused. I believe that the correct style for me is tight/agressive, but I've found that after a few hours of play I basically become bored and my play loosens up. This usually results in me losing most of the chips I earned with good play on stupid bluffs and such. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how I could try to keep myself focused. I believe that my inexperience is a large factor, but I was jsut wondering if there was anything other than simply playing more often that I could do to help solve this problem.

Default Re: Staying Focused

it sounds like you are more concerned with haveing a good time than making money, nothing wrong with this we all have different motives for playing, best suggestion i can give is quit when the session gets boring instead of letting yourself play poorly
