Default $16 Stars Double-Shootout Bubble Hand

I'm looking for some feedback on this hand. 100 players in this $15+1 double-shootout, top 6 payout (1st = $650 W$, 2nd-4th = $73, 5th-6th = $68). 7 players remaining, I'm 4th in chips.

MP2 has been playing aggressively trying to steal some blinds to rebuild his stack for several hands in a row unsuccessfully. I feel my hand is way ahead of his range, and I was interested in either isolating him in an effort to knock him out, or else getting him to fold. I'm curious about what others think of my play here.

Edit: I should also mention that I'm "playing for first", not just "playing to cash".

i'd need to run it through stove... but this seems instinctively like a marginal +cEV play because of three to act behind you... and raiser is probably no worse than 60-40 against you...

At this point its too early to steal blinds...

if MP2 has AK, AQ or AJ and commited it will hurt your stack...Wait until the blinds get to 100-200 before you start stealing...

Is this a turbo?

I just don't think this is worth the risk. MP2 went to 4xBB, which is already slightly scary. Plus he is short and likely to call you. There's a good chance he has you dominated. Is 165 chips really worth all this?

I would not shove this here. It's to early considering its only at the 15/30 level. If he is trying to steal blinds at this level let him go ahead so when you come across a real hand you can screw him over. Wait until the 100/200 level to make a raise like this to try to steal the blinds/isolate him.

I'm going down a different route here.

I understand the read on MP2 and that you are "playing for first", what I'd like to know is....

What does the table think of you?
I assume everyone has been at the table from the start but how long?
Those answers would sway... if I would do this or not...

OK here's my gut...

I'm not really concerned with MP2, I bet he's either going to fold a hand he should play or play one he should fold.

My cocern is what message does this send to the larger stacks (hence the questions about your table image)
.....and if you pull this off it will put some respect in their cups...

Can't wait to hear what rolled out...
