Default LIMCASH - 15/30 - first hand.

Villain is an unknown, and this is my first hand. Your avg opponent here is somewhat too loose, and goes to far with hands.

($15/$30 limit). Hand converted by Check Raised hand converter

Preflop (2 players): Hero is SB with
BTN calls. HERO checks.

Flop (2 small bets ($30) in pot, 2 players):

HERO checks. BTN bets. HERO 2 bets. BTN calls.

Turn (3 bets ($90) in pot, 2 players):

HERO bets. BTN calls.

River (5 bets ($150) in pot, 2 players):

HERO checks, intending to fold.

really?

it is very unlikely this guy has an ace as he limped preflop and one could argue that the river is closer to a value bet than a check/call, but either way show your hand down.

I bet out here most times and call a raise slightly less times. As villan I bet here with two cards after you check. But I'm probably a bit too much of a donk sometimes.

Yeah, i'm curious how much everyone thinks the info is worth compared to an "ev in a vacuum" standpoint.

I would bet the river. Im not concerned about getting raised on this board. I think check/call is weak here unless you think you can induce a bluff. He probably doesnt have an A b/c he didnt raise pre. He knows you arent likely to have an A for the same reason. He should have raised at some point if he had a piece to protect his vulnerable holding. So yea, im not folding.

check-call. it might be a marginal value loser, but it's not a huge loser + u want the info.

I think the info is much more valuable than the price of another big bet.

Still, I would have been inclined to bet/fold myself.
