Default My God Sunderland are terrible.

They are so hopelessly outclassed by every other side in the premiership. They will end up with less than 20 points. Only in very early March and already they have nothing to play for. It must *really* suck being a Sunderland player, so humiliating and demoralising.

Never mind the [censored] players they get well paid for the [censored] they are serving up, try being a supporter that is embarrasing and demoralising.

Main problem is we have no good strikers and our defence are going to always let a goal in, we have lost loads of matches 1-0. The manager bought badly in the summer and should have been sacked months ago.

Having said that I will be at the match still next week but a lot of lifetime fans are stopping going, the manager was pelted with season tickets a few matches ago.

I really feel for Sunderland fans, especially on away games. I think it is important that the players don't feel as if there is nothing to play for though, as a good run towards the end of the season would at least send them out on a high, ready to take to the Championship next season.

Has he explained himself in an interview? I saw the replay last night, and I just have no idea what would make him do that.

Give them a break they are in the Premier League and haven't got the team to compete up there. They didn't go out and splurge like you have to in order to compete.

We spent the same as West Ham and Wigan, both of whom are going to stay up and we were miles ahead of last season. We havent invested as much as we should have and there are issues wihin the club around wage structures due to the debt, but the players that have come in have not performed and Mccarthy was tactically inept which didnt help.

Having said that we sucked last season and I was really suprised how easily we won the league. After the shables of the 19 point season last time in the premiership most people would have accepted relegation but with a fight, we havent even managed to get over the ropes and into the ring, its embarrassing and it does hurt.

Unless we can get a proper investor to come in though I dont see any future for us apart from bouncing between the two leagues.
