Default 200NL: Ace high on river, fold, call or raise?

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players

Reads:

UTG is 43/5 from 80 hands. Loose and passive, no outstanding donkishness witnessed yet.
Hero is 21/16 TAG

Stack sizes:

SB: $150
BB: $200
UTG: $200
HERO: $230
BTN: $230

Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
fold, hero raises to $6, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($14, 2 players)
SB checks, hero bets $6, SB minraises to $12, hero calls.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($38, 2 players)
check, check

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($38, 2 players)
SB bets $9, hero ...?

Please specify frequency if you think it is useful. e.g. if you would like to raise 20% of time, fold the rest etc.

Preflop I'm experimenting with 3bb as a standard opening size (a little smaller than I used to). Flop c-bet I mix fairly evenly between 40% PSB and 85% PSB (i.e. I would bet nearer pot about half the time I c-bet here). Terrible? Ok? Radical?

Folding to the min-raise is probably good, but if I'm calling its with the intention of being willing to take a stab later if things work out for that. I expect him to have me beat nearly always at this stage.

Thanks for your feedback.

Please don't try to call flop minraise and take it away from a 43/5.. please.

I guess you can call, I'd never raise because they almost never fold after they block.

I'd say 10% call, 80% fold, raise when I'm on tilt.

Cbet is too small on this drawy board, if you want to vary your Cbet size, vary between 2/3 and a slight overbet.

Fold to the c/minraise, villain isn't fold happy. Don't try to bluff him.

On the river I usually call, giving up 4,5BB for information purposes.

what about calling the flop minraise with intentions to hit a good card on the turn - pairs, straight draw or a club? i mean we implied odds are good after a minraise, right?

fold to min raise, I don't mind a river raise even though you aren't representing anything, just make a pot sized raise.

I would not try to make a bluff on the river. My experience from these types of guys is they pretty much never folds anything here, especially when checking the turn makes you look weak.
Some fishes makes these raises on the flop with a flushdraw, but I dont think he has one here, probably a jack, river looks like a blockingbet/small valuebet.

I think I´d just check the flop vs this guy too, the board hits so many of his handranges and he´s not folding. If you decide to bet, bet slightly under pot.
