Vegas for New Years- three last minute hotel choices

[Don't know if this is the right forum, but since other vegas threads seemed to be here, I put it here. Move if appropriate]

For better or for worse, I'm doing New Years in Vegas, and given the time frame and money limitations, I have three choices. Thoughts? All prices are for three nights. Also, keep in mind that we get in on the 31st, and after checking in will be on the strip by early afternoon, and won't return until well into the morning.

(1) Circus Circus, $340.
Pros- On strip; near where friends are staying.
Cons- Never really heard great things.

(2) Comfort Inn, $225.
Pros- Cheap; near strip.
Cons- No casino (minor); not ON strip.

(3) Vegas Club, $215.
Pros- Cheap; heard for the price, really prety decent place to stay.
Cons- Far away from friends/downtown.
