Default How many hands?

do you guys play on average per month?

What limits? are you guys multi-table'ing? Trying to get a feel of how many hands I should be playing so it sets a good pace for me.

What's a reasonable amount of hands to play/month for a novice? I feel like I've haven't been playing as much (had 1000 hands over 4-5 months, but last month I got a 1000 hands after I got a feel for what I'm doing). Since I'm starting out I decided to take it a bit slower and read up and understand everything before I really jump in. The last 1000 hands I've been winning so that gave me the confidence to play more whereas when I started I lost a lot.

As much as you feel like. There's no detriment to not playing enough hands unless you have some specific time-oriented goal. There's also no detriment to playing too many unless it leads to burnout/tilt/lack of focus.
