The single long fingernail

A trend I've noticed lately is a guy (usually Italian) with one single, long, manicured fingernail and the other 9 clipped very short. It's usually accompanied by a gold pinky ring. Is this a new look or have I just lived a sheltered life?

I work in an animal hospital, during the work week I grow my fingernails for uncapping needles and peeling medical tape. During the weekend I clip and file my nails for fingerbanging my girlfriend.

in syria alot of guys rock this style, and its definately not for coke, and i',m doubtful that its for a musical instrument. I have a haunting suspicion in their case its for wiping their ass.

Asians and some Arabs do this as a sign of wealth. One long fingernail shows that you don't have to do hard work and are financially independent.
