Slow Computer Problem

Ugh! Total donk question here, since I'm a computer-idiot:

I usually two-table and run GameTime+ while I play. Within the last week, I have been having a problem. Everything is smooth with two tables running, but when I run GameTime, everything gets really choppy and my comp starts running really slowly. I downloaded PokerAce, and I don't have the same problem when I run that while I play, but I don't really like the interface as much as GameTime. Any ideas for speeding things up a little bit?

ram cpu? If its lately, could be a spyware as always, could be a full HD, could need degrag, etc. If you have too much on there it will slow it down. I personally try to format and reinstall windows every 6 months and seem to avoid these slow down problems
