BB had 4dQd...asked after the hand why he wouldn't shove the river he responded:
xxxxxxx: thought you might have a higher diamond

Nope, BB couldn't get away from that, though he should have shoved the turn.

Wow. Bet 250 on the river?

I'm shoving on the turn here. If he has a flush, then that sucks.

I would make a larger raise on the flop... to about 700 and then try and get it in on the turn.

Raise more on the flop, you probably should of shoved on the turn, but with the way you played you have to at least shove on the river, no point in only betting 250$, he's called your turn bet, he'll call a shove here. Why are you asking if it's possible to get away from this? I don't get what your trying to ask...
Edit: OK i see he had a 4 diamonds. Still your going broke here everytime. No way you can put him on the straight flush.

You should have been all in on the turn. And no you are not getting away from this hand like ever. As played please just shove river. Too bad you lost though.

Thanks for the advice on the betting everyone. I posted because I was 1/2 wondering if I played it correctly, and I was 1/2 laughing at him not getting his money in.
