New to texas hold em & forum + ?

New to the game - started reading books about three months ago - on The Theory of Poker right now - anyway have had some success on Fulltilt poker playing $2-$4 no limit along with $1 & $2 then lost most of my bank roll ( $200 in went up to $ 1,000 then down to $50 where I am now ) anyway am now playing the micro tables to practice as I realize there is a ton to learn about how to play right. I do have two questions
1.) Poker tracker & heads up display seem to be recomended by everybody - is this easy to use and what does it do exactly - I have read that you can download all players traits, stats from whatever site you are on - is that true?
2.) Any suggestions on watching online poker tutorial clips - there was one on here and I cant find it now wehre a guy was on party poker on the micro tablesa and was killing em and was fun / informative to watch -
Finally this seems like a great forum glad to have found it - will be reading mostly ( not much to add at this point )and thanks for any responses

1. This is true. It also can assemble the data to profile your play and those you play against.

2. Don't know of any online tutorials. The only video I've seen is people screwing around for the comedy value.

P.S. - If you haven't already, you should search the forum on bankroll guidelines. Your $200 starting amount sounds very low for what you were playing.

1. at first its takes a bit of learning but after a while its easy to use and will help ur game a lot, u cant download there stats but some site u can open a table and pretty much record there play and stats some dont let u though like stars

2. There are some videos made by some member on this forum, ive never watched them but I have watched them on other sites that made these to teach and they help a lot

def. learn about bankroll strategy from ur story u dont know much about it, basically u want 20 buyins for a nl game u want to play and 300 big bets for limit game u wanna play hope I helped
