MoneyHater of the Week
This weeks MoneyHater comes to us from the Bellagio 100/200 game in Las Vegas, Nevada. The villain in this hand is pretty weak-tight and honest. Our MoneyHater is neither of these. Villain raises in MP, MoneyHater 3bets next in with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], blinds fold and villain calls. Flop comes 8-high with two [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]s. Some stuff happens. Turn is the 3rd [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] that does not pair the board and is not a king. Villain check/raises, and since (a) villain has a flush here 97% of the time, (b) villain is never folding and (c) The MoneyHater has only the naked A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], our hero decides to 3barrel the turn with ace high in an effort to blast off as many dollars as humanly possible. Unfortunately for the MoneyHater, the deuce of [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]s rolled off on the river, and our hero’s efforts to give away $800 are thwarted by the pesky deck, as villain check calls and shows Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in disgust after the MoneyHater tables the nuts.
