Hero is on btn w $105 and villain has me covered. Folded to villain who limps two off the btn, I pop it to 4.25 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and he calls Flop comes A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] He checks and I bet 8 and he moves all in. What kind of range is he on here and is a call ever profitable against an unknown |

I hate to say this but you have to fold. I had a similar hand to this twice last night. AK (hearts) flop - KJx (two hearts) KhQs flop - A9x (three hearts) Even with the nut draws I lost both flops when villian pushed. |

Against an unknown with this hand I am not folding. No way. A range is tough with absolutely no stats or history. That is a ridiculous overbet, and that makes it tough to give him respect as an extremely competant player... therefore some smaller aces and pair/lower flush draw combos are in the mix.

I don't know. Really wild line. Could be a set, or 67-89h... although I would think a made flush would be looking for value here. Maybe something odd like Ax8h. I think it's a set or a2s or a5s. With such an odd line and no history, I don't know what I'd do though. Is Axxh enough of his range to call? Maybe he shows up with 33 or 44 with a heart here, too. Straight flush draw = shove? In real life, I insta-call. On these forums, I'd think about it a while and probably call anyway.

This is a super easy call really, change your hand to AK without a heart and its tougher.
