Default If I could just play JJ as well as BBB does

I've had JJ 7 times so far in June and won with it once. Down 30 BB with JJ. (I know variance/bad play etc. etc.)

I am posting this one though because I know I had opportunities to play it better and wanted to see where you guys would have differed.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Raised to isolate villain. I have no good reads because villain is 33/33 after only 9 hands. So who knows. We know he isn't shy preflop though. Even though I can't really put villain on a hand here I am thinking probably TT+, ATs+, AJ+
Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

Here is question one. Do you think I should raise the flop and fold to a three bet?
Flop: (9.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, Hero calls.

Well the turn may play in his range. Am I behind here often enough to fold the turn?
Turn: (5.70 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, Hero calls.

Well we hate this river and pot is 8.7:1 ???????
River: (7.70 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font> Hero ????????

If you raise the flop and fold to a 3bet, you're damn close to having proper implied odds to draw to a 2 outer on the turn. Combined w the risk of being outplayed by AK from a player who knows where his raise button is, I don't like that plan. I think you played well, but I think you can fold that river. Now you beat nothing.

Raised for value because I had a top 5 starting hand.

FYP. Other than that agree with wookie. Some consideration can be given to calling the river for information, but if villain is going to be around for a while better to let someone else pay for it, and if he's not going to be around a while the information is not worth much.

You raised for value. Why would you a) want to isolate with a hand as strong as JJ, and b) isolate an unknown? Yeah, he's 33/33 over 9 hands, but it's not unheard-of for a player to be dealt 3 good hands in one orbit.

fold...the read is not established. You are only hoping for stupidly played underpairs

Yeah it's partly for value. But I don't particularly think JJ is a great multiway hand either. Based on that, reduction of the field/isolation is my preferred outcome. If it were a strong multi-way hand just going for overcalls would be better eh? Better stated for my fellow nits I might have said "raised for value and reduction of the field" in my original post.

Would you raise/fold the flop?
Would you fold the turn?
Call or fold the river?

I think the attempt to get to sd is the best bet.

OT, but: What's the difference between false and wrong? (esp. when not used in a mathematical/programming context)
