Default JJ against shorty

UTG is 50/10/1.6 (55)

I haven't seen him 4-bet, but I haven't been watching.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $94.65
UTG+1: $328.35
Hero: $243.25
Button: $227.30
SB: $224.70
BB: $132.85

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $7</font>, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $24</font>, 3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $82</font>...

if he was tighter i would fold to his 4 bet but since he is a 50/10 you are almost always ahead of his range, i happily shove here

I think I would get it AI against this guy given those stats... any time I see a high VPIP I normally shade on the side of giving them action.
The more I look at the hand, the more it feels like we're allowing him to play his high PP perfectly. However, I feel like he would also play 99/1010 and a slew of high cards in this manner.
It is tougher to analyze without any other thought on how he plays and how he's been running this session.
So I would probably get it AI, but folding doesn't seem wrong.

He only has 50 bb's. You're crushing a shortstacking donks range here.

Dude has a big range preflop but I think his reraising range is quite small. I'm thinking 1010+. I have no problems getting it all in there due to stack size. However, I don't think it is that bad to fold. I'm usually putting him all in about 80% of the time.

probably fold. he's only raising 10% as it is, so for him to throw in a reraise says real strength to me. 50/10/1.6 is pretty loose and passive, exploit that. don't try and get em when he decides to play aggressively

You've got 1/4 of his stack in the pot already. You only need to win 3/8 to break even, that's 37.5 %. Even if his range is JJ+ and AK you almost have that. Add in a few other hands and it's an easy call.
