CO is 33/12 and SB is 37/23.... I put the CO on any ace, pocket pair and K9s+, with the SB over the top I had him on a tight range TT+, AQs+. I think the pot odds require a call, but I think the SB has me beat/racing too often to be profitable. I chose to fold, fwiw. What's the correct move?

If you put them on these ranges, you have to fold.
Even if SB is a little more loose, like say AJ, 88, you still should fold here. |

hippo, what would you assign the SB range with his given stats?

that range is way too tight, youre working with just over 10bb here on 2 players with laggy stats. Id call here.

One of the guys is gone after this hand. If I fold here, I'll be in second. If I call and win, I'll be dominating the table. If I call and lose, I'm crippled.
I say I'm a 60% favorite at best over their ranges, so I feel the best decision is folding. FWIW, CO had AJ and SB had AQ, so I feel my ranges were close. With my assigned ranges, it's a fold correct? |

I don't think you're losing that often pf (no way CO has QQ+, and SB's stats imply that it's highly unlikely he has one of those hands as well), so I bet you're beating both. CO could be trying to steal blinds with a weakish hand that he could still try to win with if called. I'd have to say, though, that you're looking at a smaller pp and 1 over in the best case scenario, whereas in the worse scenarios you're probably looking at 3 overs. You've got a good stack, and calling here could really cripple you. IDK I think I'm being nitty but I'd probably fold here as well.

I never said QQ+ was CO's range. Instead, I put the CO on any ace, pocket pair and K9s+. CO was loose in limping, but raising 12% isn't that bad considering his VP$IP.
I originally put the SB on TT+, AQs+. I agree that range is pretty tight for the his possible range. I feel that it's going to be fairly tight because he doesn't want to risk his stack with much less than that. I'd say a more appropriate range is 88+, AT+, and maybe KQs+. I really don't think SB is pushing over top with suited connectors lower than KQs at this stage. |

i just can't force myself to fold jacks here in a 6.50, we're ahead way too often for folding to be correct. most of the time one of them has 7s and the other has like AJ - just hope the bigger stack has the 7s and get it in there.
