Given no player is really bad, what holdings should UTG+1 bet, check/call or check/fold with?

You guys aren't even qualifying your c/f lines with KK? You just folding it regardless?

I'm betting AK, AA, QQ, AQ, QQ, JJ, TT. I'm 3-bet shoving AK, QQ, JJ, TT. I'm probably folding AA/AQ to a re-raise on the flop.

KK I'm c/c a reasonable bet.

I would pretty much never have KK here since i'd have 4bet shoved, so i just ignored it. However if you happen to have KK in this spot, you are a pretty big dog to a solid reraising range.

Board: Th Jd Qc

Surely you'd fold AQ preflop and 4bet AA/KK so you wouldn't have those?

Also you realise we no longer have the betting lead, do you really mean you'd donkbet into him with all those hands you said you'd bet?

You'd lead here with AQ into a good winning player? preflop and flop is burning money if so.

The ONLY hand you'd check is KK?

Honestly, i'm not sure i coldcall here with much vs a really good regular. While sure its exploitable if you are folding pretty much everything when he repops you, so many regs are mass multitabling they don't care to try to get fancy early on. I think vs some of the really good TAG regs i would 4bet shove AA/KK and just fold everything else since their reraising range is like QQ+ and sometimes AK

Twisted,

Ignore my posts today, I'm really sucking at posting today. I just took my lead from the first poster, and didn't think much about the preflop action. Dumb.

Actually thinking about this hand changes a lot obviously. His preflop range is really tight and a lot of my actions in my previous post were thinking it was simply a raised pot, not a 3-bet pot. What this means, is i was assuming hands like KQ, QJ, and JT where not only reasonable, but would pay you off.

However, know that his range that will pay you off here is like AA-TT changes things a lot. I wouldn't have many hands here to consider shoving. I might flat call AA/KK preflop, and I'd puke on the flop and go into c/c or c/f mode. I probably wouldn't donk out at a lot of flops with anything either, so you are also right about that.

This hand has puzzled me for some time now, and I think I am somehow leveling myself here. I will give it a try anyway, and hope to get slaughtered…

A raise from an above average player (UTG+1) should mean JJ+, AK. A reraise from a BIG winner should mean QQ+, and maybe sometimes AK, lets say AKs. I would never call such a reraise as UTG+1 here. KK+ is a reraise and the rest is a fold. But UTG+1 called and I would give him TT-QQ, AK in this situation. Given these ranges CO should fold anything but QQ and AK. He is on average an 18/82 dog with Aces or Kings against UTG+1s rang.

Therefore I think UTG+1 should bet every hand in his range.
