Default Final Florida Bill

The final version of the new law (SB 752), which is awaiting the Governor’s signature, was slightly changed from the House Bill. The House Bill said that no limit Hold-em games would be permitted “provided the maximum required player buy-in does not exceed $100.” SB 752 says "a cardroom operator may conduct games of Texas Hold-em without a betting limit if the required player buy-in is no more than $100,”

In my view, eliminating the word “maximum” diminishes the ambiguity. That is, no one can be required to buy-in for more than $100, but anyone should be allowed to buy-in for more.
