Default 6.50 FTP Turbo - AK Push with 21BB

Does this just suck or is it okay ?
Resons that made me shove were:

The pot is allready worth taking down.
The chance that I have the best hand is good.
The chance that a worse hand is calling me is good.
If I reraise and miss the flop, I have to Conti-Push or be crippelt.
If I raise and am facing a shove I will call.

You still have 5 people behind you left to act. I would raise to ~500. This is big enough to take down most pots your all-in will take down. It also protects you from someone willing to reraise again behind you. Any solid player who 3-bets is likely to have AA or KK and you can get away without stacking yourself.

Also, while there may be an exceptionally weak player behind you who may call w/ AQ, AJ hands, you are going to lose most action from the hands you are way ahead of leaving only the hands that have you crused or perhaps are racing with you.

You don't gain anything by pushing really.

I'd say re-raise 400-500.

Another reason to shove.

Shortie is in BB and will be getting great odds to put his chips in and get back in the game. Isolate him now. Raising here could leave you in a big multiway pot on the flop if BB calls all-in and 2 limpers decide to call with pot odds.

problem is how are you going to play the flop after you raise to 500 like you say and you miss the flop?

Thats true, I do not "gain" much by pushing, but what I can "avoid" is something very different.

IMO the push is good b/c raising could (and def. will) put me in really ugly spots.
I can negate this with simply push AI pre.

That was what crossed my mind.
