Default Drills to improve poker skills

I'm interested in learning some drills that I can do every day to improve my poker skills. I've tried dealing out community boards and figuring out what the nuts, second nuts etc are.

I've heard that Mike Caro published a book a few years back called "12 Days to holdem success" which has some suggested drills. Does anyone know if this book is worth getting?

If anyone could suggest any poker drills that I could do daily I'd be very grateful. <font color="blue"> </font> <font color="blue"> </font> <font color="blue"> </font> <font color="blue"> </font>

I wouldn't recommend it. It's available as a cheaply copied, unbound booklet. The exercises could be helpful for a live game player, but some of the advice is questionable (I'm being charitable here).

I have some programs that may be helpful for beginners here:

Note: these work better in Firefox than in IE.

I went to the website, clicked on the readem and get an "unable to connect" problem. But the other 2 drills work great.

Good web page in general!

Experience is paramount. Live and learn.
Never get too excited when you are winning, never get too frustrated when u r loosing/get sucked out on.

Good luck
